Our history

One framework for music and cinema

The program was established to bring recognition of musical and cinematic work under a single, merit-driven framework. Rather than separating the two disciplines, it treats each as an expression of the same demand for artistic execution. Its purpose is to give visibility to creators whose work is judged on craft, and to make the recognition process legible to artists, festival programmers, and the public.

Recognition is extended to established names and emerging voices alike. Regional productions, independent releases, and visionary soundtrack work are considered on equal terms with work from larger studios.

Adjudication

Blind evaluation, documented standards, and disclosed conflicts

Submissions are reviewed by an independent panel of experienced professionals. Early rounds use blind listening and screening, and every evaluator declares potential conflicts of interest before reviewing any entry.

How work is reviewed

From first screening to category committee

01

Initial screening

Each submission is checked for eligibility and technical delivery before it reaches a panel.

02

Blind evaluation

Panelists assess the work on artistic execution without knowledge of the creators involved.

03

Category committee

Shortlisted entries are reviewed by committees for each category and weighed against one another.
